Hawking Pond Cabin is a secluded 2019 built log cabin.  It is beautifully located on top of a majestic hill right next to our secluded Hawking Pond.  The cabin showcases a 360 degree walk around deck which provides spectacular views of "the hills," Hawking Pond, pine trees, bird feeders, woodlands and amazing sunsets!

    • Pricing is based on 12 guests.  PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP WITH MORE OR INVITE OTHERS DURING YOUR STAY .  We apologize to the guests who obey the rental agreement, but  unfortunately this has become a problem lately.


    • Maximum occupancy is 12 guests total(Guest are defined as any adult, visitor,  child, toddler, and baby).


    • ALL GUESTS MUST BE REGISTERED ON THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.  You may add up to the total of 12 at any time during your stay, but they MUST be registered with the owner.  


    ***We recommend only 8 ADULTS for a comfortable stay***

    • 5% off for active duty military, reserve/guard, and honorably discharged veterans will be available after veteran status has been verified via your DD 214 long form(short will not be accepted).  Please cross out your SS#.  Department of Veterans Affairs  issued Veteran ID is also accepted.  Currently serving Active Duty, Reserve, or Guard will need to send a current LES form from your MYPAY account with SS# and pay information crossed out.  CAC cards are not authorized to send.

    Conkles Hollow is one of the most spectacular features within the Hocking Hills region. Its sheer cliffs of Black Hand sandstone rise nearly 200 feet above the valley floor. The deep, cool gorge, which is only 100 feet wide in places and is considered by some to be the deepest in Ohio, has numerous waterfalls cascading over its sandstone 

    Conkles Hollow is one of the most spectacular features within the Hocking Hills region. Its sheer cliffs of Black Hand sandstone rise nearly 200 feet above the valley floor. The deep, cool gorge, which is only 100 feet wide in places and is considered by some to be the deepest in Ohio, has numerous waterfalls cascading over its sandstone cliffs. The cliff tops with their magnificent overlooks and the quiet gorge beneath offer visitors an opportunity to explore different habitats, each with its own unique plant and animal communities.

    Rock House is an enclosed, cave-like structure located in Hocking Hills State Park with a colorful history. Rock House contains a row of seven "windows" separated by massive columns of solid stone.  Steps have been cut into a cliff that lead up and through the windows. 
    Inside is a tunnel-like passageway, about twenty-five feet high, two hundred feet long, and twenty to thirty feet wide.

Here at the Upper Falls, the Grandma Gatewood Trail begins its six-mile course connecting three of the park's areas: Old Man's Cave to Cedar Falls to Ash Cave. This same trail has been designated as part of Ohio's Buckeye Trail as well as part of two
